Healing Arts Scotland 2026: Roundtable at the Scottish Parliament

Healing Arts Scotland 2026 was announced alongside a high-level roundtable held at the Scottish Parliament, bringing together leaders from the arts, health, and public policy sectors to explore a national arts and health strategy for Scotland.

The discussion was chaired by Catherine Cassidy-Dedics, Global Director of Healing Arts, and co-led by Stephen Stapleton, Founding Co-Director of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab.

They were joined in person by:

  • Angus Robertson, Cabinet Secretary for Constitution, External Affairs, and Culture
  • Gregor Smith, Chief Medical Officer, Scottish Government
  • Patrick Harvie, MSP, Scottish Green Party
