Held on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly, UNGA Healing Arts Week 2024 is a dynamic program of events celebrating innovative approaches to global health and wellbeing through the arts.

Healing Arts Atlanta launched with a focus on Championing the Role of the Arts in addressing Racism as a Public Health Crisis. The event precedes a major convening of researchers, artists, community leaders and policy makers to discuss how the arts can heal the wounds of racial trauma.

Healing Arts Scotland will be the first-ever nationwide Healing Arts campaign, which will involve a week of celebrating and advocating for improved physical, mental and social health through the arts.

This panel discussion will mark the launch of a global healing arts initiative between the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organization at Art Basel in Basel with speakers such as Refik Anadol, Noah Horowitz, among others.

COP28 Healing Arts Week shined a light on the impact the arts can have on both climate change and human health and wellbeing. A series of panels and events directly engaged senior policy-makers during the COP28 summit.

Incorporating events in Riyadh to Jeddah, this three-day initiative marked the launch of a regional programme to advocate for improved physical, mental and social health through the arts.

On the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly, the Lab held public and private events in collaboration with academic, cultural, and health institutions across New York.

Co-organized by the Lab, this historic concert included dance, music, and spoken word performances by world-leading talents. It signified WHO's gratitude to the people of Geneva, the organization’s generous hosts for 75 years.

Spanning four months, Healing Arts Jaipur included an exhibition by the Corona Quilt Project at Nila House, and a series of public dialogues.
