Yasmin Mazloum

Yasmin Mazloum is the in-house Graphic Designer at the Jameel Arts & Health Lab. As the Lab’s brand guardian, she leads its visual identity across internal and external platforms. Since joining in 2024, she has designed multiple publications and developed visual campaigns for Healing Arts activations in New York, Barcelona, and Singapore.

Yasmin holds an MA in Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she gained insight into the UK’s cultural sector through study and collaborations with various cultural practitioners and arts organisations; and earned her BA in Graphic Design with a focus in bilingual design (Arabic and English) from the Lebanese American University in Beirut. Her interests lie in design’s role in shaping our understanding around research and policy. 

Prior to joining the Lab, she worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and as a cover designer in Beirut for publishing houses including Dar Al Adab and Sard, where she received artistic credit for her design of the Arabic translation of Memoirs of Hadrian by Marguerite Yourcenar. She also contributed to the startup The Arabic Design Archive as an archival assistant, supporting efforts to document and make accessible the history of Arab visual culture.
