NYU Steinhardt

NYU Steinhardt was founded in1980 as the first school of pedagogy in the US. Today, it advances the education, health, and wellbeing of people and communities around the world. It achieves this by fostering knowledge, creativity, and innovation at the crossroads of culture, education, and human development.

Arts & Health @ NYU was founded by Lab Founding Co-Director Nisha Sajnani. Based at NYU Steinhardt, this university-wide initiative brings together faculty and students from across NYU global campuses who are involved in the study and practice of how the arts contribute to clinical and public health. It is a hub for collaboration and exchange for those already engaged in the intersections of the arts and wellbeing, or for those interested in learning more.
