Elisabeth Bahr (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at NYU Jameel Arts & Health Lab currently researching the intersection of arts and health.
Her clinical background as an occupational therapist in addition to her expertise in neurological conditions and neurodiversity inform her scholarship, which focuses on improving health equity for people and populations historically marginalized.
She received her Master of Science from NYU and Doctorate from Boston University. She is a practicing multidisciplinary artist whose work focuses on therapeutic applications, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree at Harvard Extension in Creative Writing and Literature. Her additional roles include Doctoral Capstone Mentor at New York University’s Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy program and Adjunct professor and faculty mentor at Monmouth University occupational therapy doctorate program.
